As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Security Analyst to join our Managed Cyber Services team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your skills will be valued, developed, and put to meaningful use.
The Role
As a Security Analyst, you’ll be on the front line of protecting our clients. Your job will be to monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats across networks, systems, and endpoints. Working closely with our SOC and managed services teams, you’ll play a key role in identifying risks, analysing incidents, and keeping our clients safe and secure.
This is a role for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about problem-solving. If you’re curious about how things work, enjoy investigating issues, and want to make a real impact in cyber security, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse security alerts across client environments.
- Investigate potential security incidents and escalate as required.
- Work with the SOC to provide incident response and containment.
- Support vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.
- Maintain accurate security logs, reports, and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to resolve issues.
- Stay up to date on the latest security threats, trends, and tools.
About You
We don’t expect you to know everything from day one, but we are looking for someone who is eager to learn and confident in taking ownership.
Essential skills & qualities:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- A good understanding of networking, operating systems, and IT fundamentals.
- Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners).
- Strong communication skills, able to explain issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
Desirable (nice to have):
- Previous experience in a SOC or security monitoring role.
- Knowledge of incident response processes.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
